Sherry was born and brought up in Yorkshire where she studied up to the age of 18. Following this she attended University in London and became a qualified secondary school teacher.

Sherry has experienced many different roles throughout her career, from working at sea to public and private sector jobs in different parts of the UK and further afield.

Her strength lies in Leadership and Management and she leads two local companies.

She has a Master’s Degree in Education and an Honorary Degree from Greenwich. She is part of several entrepreneur schemes both Locally and Nationally and she is a member of Leeds University SME Leadership group.

Sherry and her husband live in Ilkley and have a family of 4 children and 7 grandchildren and is an EY Ambassador and Yorkshire Champion. She enjoys photography and Bridge.

Sherry is keen to give back to the Community in any way she can and hopes her experience can support local young people to gain confidence and dream big.
