Raj Kumar – Solicitor

Raj was born in India on 21/11/1961. He grew up near Bombay (Mumbai), then moved to Delhi when he was around 13 years old. Raj came to England when he was around 15 years of age in 1975.

His father was a bus driver and mother worked in an onion factory peeling onions.

Raj went to Thornton Grammar School. He studied O Levels and A Levels at Thornton Grammar School. After Thornton, he attended Bradford College to sit HND Business Studies. On completing the HND he attended North Staffordshire Polytechnic to sit LLB(Hons). On completing LLB(Hons) Raj attended Inns of Law to sit Bar exams.

Crown Prosecution Service (CPS)

Raj worked here as admin until being promoted to the Branch Office Manager. Then took up an opportunity at CPS in Rochdale where he qualified as a solicitor. He then got transferred to Bradford CPS until 2010 when he left as a Senior Crown Prosecutor 

RKN Solicitors

In 2010 Raj opened his own firm of Solicitors called RKN where he is the company director and employs other solicitors and members of staff.
