Kelly Deegan – Relationship Support Manager

When leaving school in 1998 Kelly pursued a career in the beauty industry, training as a beauty therapist and then completed a media make-up qualification.  She then went on to work for a luxury skincare company which enabled her to travel the UK selling the products. Her next role was managing a busy beauty salon in her local area. This chapter in her career ended when a client suggested her skills may be suited in a more lucrative role. As she is dyslexic she never realised this was an option.

Kelly then went on to join the bank and embark on a different career path that utilised her core strengths and background of relationship building and sales.

Kelly’s career with Barclays started in the retail sector (branch based) in 2005. During that period Kelly became a mother and had to learn how to manage her work life balance. She then got promoted and joined the corporate banking team as a Relationship Support Manager in 2014. Her role involves looking after a portfolio of business clients who turn over £6.5 million to £50 million. Kelly works closely with her clients to help and support them in growing their business and achieving their goals. Kelly is passionate about people and developing long and trusted relationships within all aspects of her work and personal life.

Today Kelly focuses on progressing her career and developing her knowledge within the banking sector.
