Graham Sweeney – Chief Operating Officer

Graham is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Schofield Sweeney Solicitors with overall
responsibility for IT, Marketing, HR and pretty much anything else that is not legal work.
Responsible for looking at how we can deliver services as effectively as possible with the resources which we have.

Graham came to the role via a circuitous route. Graham originally qualified as a solicitor following a traditional law degree and training contract. Having spent five years as a solicitor he decided he did not enjoy it and left his job to retrain into IT, doing an MSc in Information Systems.

Following a few years progressing through IT he went back to education again and completed an MBA. Graham now makes use of all the education and experience since leaving school in the management role in a law firm.

As a result, he is a strong advocate that learning never ends, and whatever you learn it will be useful, even if not how you expected.

Sectors worked in and routes taken.
