Gigie Tuballa Fletcher – Civil servant

My name is Gigie Tuballa Fletcher. I was born in the Philippines and was educated in the Philippines as well as here in the UK.
I am Mrs Dipolog City and in July 30th 2022 I will be competing in the Grand Final for Philippines EuroAsia Pageant at the Lancaster Grand Theatre. I also represent Leeds and Bradford as well as my home city of the Philippines (Dipolog).
The competition involves charitable work and this is my prime reason to compete.
In my day-to-day life I am a single Mum of two young adults – Molly-Jo who will be 20 years old in May, and Jay-Jay who is 19 in July. I am a former NHS nurse and I currently work as a civil servant. I have also studied at Bradford Life Church College and in June 2019 I graduated in Leadership Studies.
I am a born-again Christian, dancer and I love karaoke and spending time with my friends. I am also delighted and honoured to have recently been nominated for an “Empowered Modern Filipina Award” in 2022.
My motivation in life is to help and empower others, especially the younger generation, as they are the future – It is so important for all to know that no matter what we go through in life, what we have done and have experienced, everything can be turned for good and for a brighter future.
I truly believe that where there is life, there is always hope for tomorrow and a fresh new start.
