Enthusiastic Artist and Interfaith Ambassador
Denise was born in West Yorkshire and is married to Richard Stroud MBE, she has a daughter and a son and 4 grandchildren. Family life and Family values are of paramount importance to her. Whilst her children were young Denise ran a fashion business from home.
After studying for teaching qualifications in her 40’s she taught 16 year olds Communication and Presentation Skills at Further Education schools and also did volunteer work for the charity Mind.
She is a self-taught artist and has been determined to succeed. With hard work, resilience and practice this has led her to having exhibitions of her work. Including exhibiting her paintings in aid of St Gemma’s Hospice. Her passion is Life Long Learning.
Denise believes with support, nurturing and encouragement leading to self-belief, anyone no matter from what background, with true determination, resilience and practice can be a success and lead a fulfilling and successful life.
