Haider Naqvi – CEO of 313 Foundation

I am the founder and CEO of 313 Foundation, a Bradford-based organisation focused on supporting young people and communities through education, wellbeing and personal development. My work centres around helping individuals build confidence, make informed choices and understand the value of effort, resilience and long-term thinking. I come from a working-class background and have seen first-hand the challenges that many young people face, particularly around opportunity, guidance and self-belief. A big part of what I try to do is break down the idea that success is out of reach, and instead show that with the right mindset, support and consistency, people can create their own pathway. Through my work, I engage directly with young people across initiatives such as reading groups, wellbeing sessions and leadership activities, creating spaces where they feel heard, supported and encouraged to think differently about their future. I am passionate about sharing honest experiences, including both successes and setbacks, and helping young people see that their starting point does not define where they can go.
